Inverse Problems
An inverse problem, generally, is the task of obtaining model parameter(s) from observed data. DDMA works on the cutting edge in this area:
- Compressed Sensing Compressed sensing refers to recent research:
- in signal process that allows fast, efficient dimension reduction, and
- in high dimensional geometry and harmonic analysis that has produced methods for getting good reconstructions from far fewer measurements than traditionally believed necessary.
- Radiographic Reconstruction
- TV-Abel. DDMA's TV-Abel radiographic reconstruction (total-variation regularized Abel inversion) algorithms are state-of-the-art, fast, and implemented in our Image and Data Analyzer software. The analysis is relatively low cost and feasible for smaller experiments. The method does not depend on any information other than the data itself.
- Fast X-Ray Reconstruction Techniques.
