Intro to Image Processing
An overview of topics relevant to image processing. Matt Sottile, CCS-2, LANL. June 27 and 28, CNLS Conference Room, 9:30am-10:30am.
These two talks will cover many topics for the newcomer to image processing. They assume little to no previous experience in image processing. The goal of the talks will be to provide the audience with a feel for the basic operations and terminology that are found throughout image processing applications so they can know where to look to find deeper information on the web and in the literature. These talks will not discuss anything related to coding image processing algorithms in any specific language or tool.
