Applications will be reviewed in three rounds until the positions are filled. The deadlines for the rounds are March 15, April 15, May 15. We will give a response of yes, no or possible within two weeks of the deadline.

Provide the name of the institution with which you are associated.

Provide the level/year of education you will have completed in the summer of 2006.

Students with non-US citizenship should apply as early as possible. Depending on the country, up to 60 days lead time may be required to visit the lab.

Please have two or three letters of recommendation e-mailed to datasciences@gmail.com and vixie@speakeasy.net, with the subject: "your-LAST-name" recommendation. List the names and affiliations of people whom you have asked for a recommendation.
Upload a resume here. The application provides an ambiguous response, but the resumes seem to come through fine. Drop a note to kncx@lanl.gov if you are unsure your resume went through.

Discuss your background and your interest. Specifically, you should (a) review the proposed projects and comment on which ones you are interested in and why, and (b) say what you think you can contribute. Project definitions are not firm at this point, so feel free to challenge or develop the proposals. You may also comment on the proposals directly on the associated wiki. Please include your name in the comment.
