The summer school participants, including metnors, organizers, long term scientific visitors. There were 4 teams under KRV, Matt Sottile, Tom Asaki, and Allon Percus. Katharine Chartrand provided the bulk of the organizational structure and logistical capability needed to pull the whole thing off. Funding was provided by DOE through various programs, through the help of Mac Hyman as well as through funding the principals raised.

The students worked on various projects involving geometric analysis as well as the application of such insights to various data including image data collected from human placentas. The placental data sets were provided by Carrie Salafia (NYU).
