Research
In the DDMA group, I have been working on a variety of problems in image analysis. My focus thus far has been on the combination of large numbers of image metrics into single metrics based on training data and human interaction, but in the future I hope to incorporate ideas from algebraic topology and dynamical systems into the classification of multi-dimensional simulations.
As a side project, I have been writing a series of C++ classes for the multiplication of arbitrary-rank tensors with an arbitrary number of reductions. The routines use MPI for parallel platforms and can go out-of-core very easily. A write-up of this work is available under the release number LA-UR 07-4529 .

Irregular features
- I maintain a beamer template for the DDMA group . Download it here in tarred-gnu-zipped format (version 10/2/2006).
- I have another web page through this same server in html format. It contains several additional pages, including
- Résumés in pdf, ps, and html formats.
- Graphical tour of my PhD research. In order to view the tour properly, you have to enable popups from ddma.lanl.gov. I swear this is safe.
- Table of links that I find useful and interesting.
- General information page listing publications, not-too-personal information, etc. A lot of this stuff is on the plone site, too.
- Web page written for a class I took in parallel computation through UCSD . It contains several write-ups and code examples.
